Description
6 original brick arches extended to 27 as module for geometry of new construction. Steel superstructure based on spine beam supported by 6 columns at 18.3m centres. Rib beams at 3.66m centres cantilever to front & back from spine. Lower promenade suspended from spine & rib beams. 1380m2 roof tensioned to galvanised steel cables & central pick-up rings.
