Description
The project was about a cover for the sporting area of Alicante del Sol School, including its galleries, to protect their users from rain and UV rays, which represents a serious problem in Chile, even in the case of a children school. The project was installed in the city Puente Alto, state of Santiago, Chile.
The complexity of this project was that our architects had to apply for a study of architecture in Chile, which had commissioned the design of the sports area of the school, they contacted us and wanted a modern, impressive and meets the technical requirements.
This raises the typical design of a module that rotates to form a spatially uniform, with a special design for the concrete podium that complements the coverage.
The result was that the client was very pleased with the work because it had fully performed their requirements and intentions of creating a space where you feel secure.
It was the first attempt to build concrete podium with an unconventional way and in different spatial planes.
